Monica J. Rosas’ practice focuses on business formation for LLC’s and corporations as well as compliance with state and county filings, estate planning and trust and estate administration. Monica also has experience with probate proceedings in the San Diego County Superior Court. The San Diego-based associate, a fluent Spanish speaker, represents clients with varying portfolios, from straightforward bank accounts to commercial property and business ownership.
It is imperative that business clients review their records to make certain they are in compliance with the requirements of the Secretary of State and the Business and Professions Code. If they are not, Monica can assist with preparing and filing the necessary documentation. For individual clients, having an estate plan ensures that their wishes will be carried out and that the administration will be private and not under the court’s purview. Advising clients is one of Monica’s favorite parts of practicing law, as it allows for her to really get to know the client and establish a relationship. Monica approaches all matters with friendly professionalism and prides herself in the rapport she takes care to build with clients.
Prior to joining Best Best & Krieger LLP, Monica was an attorney with the Walsh Law Firm, A.P.C, which joined BB&K in 2020. Monica began working at Walsh Law Firm’s predecessor firm, Foster Walsh, LLP, while she was attending the University of San Diego as an undergraduate. She worked full time while earning her law degree.
