Michael Russo is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Business practice group. He advises privately owned and closely held businesses, and large companies with national and international operations. He handles an array of business transactions, with a particular focus on real estate and corporate transactions, including those related to entity formation and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Michael advises clients on trust and estate matters.
 
Michael has a varied litigation and transactional background, which includes practice in bankruptcy and medical malpractice. He handles cases from inception through their respective end, working to listen and understand the client’s needs and desired goals to help maximize results and address their legal concerns.
 
Before joining Best Best & Krieger, Michael gained experience clerking for numerous San Diego law firms. During this time, he represented health care practitioners in all phases of litigation and clients dealing with bankruptcy, business, injury, insurance, real estate and transactional matters.
 
Michael grew up in San Diego and enjoys playing and watching soccer, attending concerts and touring California’s wineries.
