Kira Johnson is a water policy analyst in the Environmental Law & Natural Resources practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Los Angeles office.
 
Previously, Kira was an associate with BB&K representing public and private clients in matters involving environmental, water and land use law in state and federal court.
 
While attending Loyola Law School, Kira was a member of the Scott Moot Court Honors Board and Team, president of the Environmental Law Society and a board member of the Public Interest Law Foundation. In addition, Kira externed with the California Attorney General in the Natural Resources Law Section as part of the Public Rights Summer Honors Program.
 
Before attending law school, she spent three years as an assistant coach for the Swarthmore College women’s basketball team, making a trip to the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2001. She was born and raised in Altadena, Calif. Kira is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
