Elizabeth York is a paralegal in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Municipal Law and Business practice groups in Sacramento. She has been in the legal field for more than 20 years working for private clients, public entities and nonprofits. Utilizing her real estate background, which includes holding a California real estate license, Elizabeth focuses on helping clients with transactional real estate deals. Having experience in environmental litigation, including California Environmental Quality Act matters, gives Elizabeth a full-picture perspective to many real property challenges clients face.
Elizabeth’s paralegal work is diverse, and includes assisting attorneys with business transactions and litigation, mergers & acquisitions, business licensing and corporate formations and company dissolutions. She has done extensive work with the California Contractors State Licensing Board and on multi-state licensing and compliance, real estate transactions, financial matters, civil litigation and land use disputes, among other areas. While she focuses on real estate transactions and corporate matters, her extensive experience in various practice areas enables her to support attorneys across practice groups.
Prior to joining BB&K, Elizabeth worked in-house for a financial institution and other prominent national law firms.
