Elizabeth A. Han is of counsel in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Labor & Employment practice group. She represents private and public employers in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits that allege claims for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract and wage and hour violations, among other employment claims. She has litigated in California and federal trial courts, the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. She represents employers in hearings before the California Labor Commissioner and during investigations by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor.

Elizabeth provides advice and counsel to private and public employers regarding medical leaves, harassment complaints, discipline, wage and hour laws, ADA compliance and other matters. She drafts contracts and employee handbooks, conducts harassment and other workplace investigations, provides sexual harassment avoidance trainings, and presents training seminars to clients and community groups on various employment law issues.
 
Elizabeth is a member of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association and has attended trainings provided by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
 
While attending the University of California Hastings College of Law, Elizabeth served as an extern for the Honorable Jamoa A. Moberly of the Orange County Superior Court. Elizabeth also competed in and coached moot court competitions and was a teaching assistant for Appellate Advocacy during law school. She was named Student of the Year for Moot Court in 2010.
 
Elizabeth has also served as a JusticeCorps volunteer with the Small Claims Court Advisory Program. She is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California.
