Dustin is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Municipal and Bankruptcy practice groups. He assists both public and private clients with navigating all aspects and stages of litigation, and advises on complex business and bankruptcy matters. Dustin has specific experience in Chapter 11 proceedings and non-dischargeability actions.

Most recently, Dustin practiced at the Turoci Law Firm as a litigator. During law school at University of California, Irvine, Dustin was appointed to the City of Irvine Planning Commission and Green Ribbon Environmental Clinic. There, he issued quasi-judicial determinations on development applications and proposed ordinances, while gaining valuable experience in municipal matters, environmental considerations and constituency dynamics. Additionally, Dustin participated in UC Irvine’s Environmental Law Clinic and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson, a bankruptcy judge presiding in the Central District of California. 

Dustin has experience in all stages of bankruptcy litigation and related, adversary matters. He has represented trustees, large and small debtors, and municipal and private party creditors in various bankruptcy cases in in California, Texas, and Delaware. 

Dustin is admitted to the Central District, Southern District, Northern District and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In his spare time, Dustin enjoys summer baseball games and picnics with his wife and dog.
