David Lloyd is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Special Districts practice group in the San Diego office. He focuses on municipal and public entity representation. With experience in municipal law and regulatory matters, David is well-suited to advise clients on a spectrum of legal issues.
 
While attending the University of San Diego School of Law, David worked as an intern for the Civil Division of the San Diego City Attorney’s Office. He also interned for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and California Department of Business Oversight. David served as the chief articles editor of the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law, and participated in Advocates for Children and Education’s Crawford High School program.
 
David grew up in Point Loma and is a fourth-generation San Diegan. He is a first degree black belt, and enjoys snorkeling, film and trying new restaurants in his spare time.
