Counseling Health Care Providers
Colin's central practice is public health care law and regulation, representing providers generally, and medical centers, health care districts, community clinics, skilled nursing facilities and physician groups. He has served as general and special counsel to large and complex medical centers, and corporate counsel to their public and nonprofit boards of directors. Colin also practices public entity and nonprofit law, emphasizing government regulation, public contracting and approval.

Colin is a 35-year member of the California Society of Healthcare Attorneys, as well as the American Health Lawyers Association, the California Lawyers Association Public Law Section and is the past-president of the Contra Costa Bar Association. Colin represents northern and eastern Contra Costa County as a member of the elected Board of Directors of the East Bay Regional Park District, a two-county special district and the nation’s largest local government devoted to parks and recreation.
