Anthony Chavez is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Irvine office and represents public and private clients in litigation in state and federal courts. Drawing on experience gained while attending college in the Silicon Valley and working for a tech company before attending law school, Anthony is adept at litigation-support technology, e-discovery and assisting clients with ensuring their websites are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
 
Prior to joining BB&K, Anthony was a business litigation associate at an Orange County firm, where he represented clients in state and federal court in connection with various business, commercial and contractual matters. His work spanned multiple industries, including construction and real estate, apparel, banking, manufacturing and agriculture. He has served as lead attorney on appeals, achieving favorable outcomes. Anthony also gained experience with complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense as a government investigations and white collar criminal defense associate at a large law firm in Los Angeles.
 
While in law school, Anthony served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Kim Wardlaw at the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and a judicial extern to the Honorable Magistrate Judge Andrew Wistrich at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Anthony was also a member of the University of Southern California Gould School of Law’s National Moot Court Team and a topic editor on the Hale Moot Court Honors Program Executive Board.
 
Anthony is admitted to the Eighth and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and licensed to practice law in the State of California.
