Best Best & Krieger LLP was ranked No. 6 in the mid-sized or “101 to 250 Attorneys” category on Law360’s 2022 Diversity Snapshot. The firm also earned a No. 4 ranking for minority representation among equity partners. BBK has consecutively earned a position among the top 10 on the annual Diversity Snapshot.

The Diversity Snapshot is one in a collection of reports created by Law360 on an annual basis that is driven by information collected from its Law Firm Survey. The Diversity Snapshot is unique in that it assesses how diversity at U.S.-based law firms compares with what it could be relative to the potential marketplace of new hires.

BBK Chief Talent Officer Danielle Sakai was quoted in this year’s corresponding Diversity Snapshot coverage, crediting the firm’s strong showing to the range of strategies aimed at retention, such as mentoring, strategic teaming and resources that support career advancement.

The 2022 Diversity Snapshot indicates measured progress and spotlights unique efforts made by firms, especially within their leadership, to truly commit to achieving a diverse workforce. Sakai mentions leadership as a critical piece of the diversity puzzle by noting that "the firm's leadership is aware that we need to be intentional about building a truly inclusive environment that enables every person to contribute to their fullest potential."

Law360 also annually publishes a list of the largest U.S. law firms, the Law360 400, based on results from its Law Firm Survey. BBK landed the No. 202 position on the 2022 Law360 400.
