BB&K Attorney Joseph Byrne, Chair of the California Water Commission, Discusses Groundwater Storage Projects With the Los Angeles Times

Best Best & Krieger LLP attorney Joseph Byrne, who also chairs the California Water Commission, was interviewed by the Los Angeles Times on water storage projects. In its Nov. 9 edition, the Times explored interest in water storage proposals in response to the drought.

“I know there’s a large interest in groundwater storage projects, and the commission is very interested in exploring those,” Joe told the newspaper in regard to Proposition 1 — the water bond passed by voters in 2014 that sets aside funds for water storage.
