Case Win: United States of America, et al. v. Montrose Chemical Corporation of California, et al.
This lawsuit was filed by the United States and California under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation & Liability Act ("CERCLA") for injury to natural resources in and around the Channel Islands, the Palos Verdes Shelf, the San PedroSeveral of the corporate defendants filed third party claims and cross claims against more than 150 governmental entities. BB&K represents three such governmental entitles: the City of Fontana, the City of Claremont and the Cucamonga County Water District.
