Public Finance Attorney Kelly J. Salt Joins BB&K in San Diego

Kelly J. Salt has joined the San Diego office of Best Best & Krieger (BB&K). She is of counsel in the firm’s public finance practice group.

Salt worked for the San Diego City Attorney's Office for more than sixteen years, where she served as the primary attorney on public finance matters for the City. For the last year and a half, she was the Chief Deputy of the Public Works Section. Salt has worked on financings as varied as the $169.6 million lease revenue financing for the construction of Petco Park to the billion dollar expansion, construction and reconstruction of the City's water and wastewater infrastructure programs. Prior to joining the City Attorney's Office, she worked for the University of San Diego School of Law as an instructor and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.

BB&K’s San Diego office was opened in 1993, and today houses 29 attorneys and 27 support staff. In addition to public finance, the firm’s San Diego attorneys practice business, municipal and redevelopment, school, special district, litigation, labor and employment, and environmental and natural resource law.
