BB&K Achieves Dismissal of Wrongful Death Case

BB&K Partner John Higginbotham represented the City of Colton in Olga Ulloa v. City of Colton, et al. This wrongful death case involved a car accident in which plaintiff’s husband was killed while crossing a street at night. Plaintiff alleged a dangerous condition of public property due to broken street lights and obstructed visibility. After successfully demurring to the plaintiff’s first amended complaint, BB&K persuaded plaintiff to dismiss the City from the case.
