Best Best & Krieger LLP (BB&K) partner, Robert J. Hanna, has been named one of San Diego’s “2006 Top Attorneys” by The Daily Transcript (CLICK HERE for The Daily Transcript “Top Attorney” profile).
Hanna was one of only ten San Diego area attorneys to receive top honors in the Real Estate & Construction Litigation category. The Daily Transcript “Top Attorneys” is a peer-voting process. San Diego County attorneys were asked to nominate their peers — with whom they had professional experience — in 11 pre-selected categories. More than 6,300 voting invitations were distributed to the San Diego legal community. The top 25 nominees were then selected in each category. These semifinalists were asked to cast their votes for 10 nominees in their categories. According to The Daily Transcript the final list represents the “peer-selected best and brightest in San Diego’s legal arena.”
"I am especially delighted that The Daily Transcript recognition refers to our firm (BB&K) and provides local recognition of our firm's litigation capacity," says Hanna.
Some of Rob’s notable cases for his nomination include, representation of the San Diego Port District in the litigation relating to the delay in the San Diego Convention Center; an asbestos manufacturer in multiple asbestos cases; a number of public entities and districts in the Electric Energy class action proceedings; the City of San Diego in litigation concerning the development of the former Naval Training Center; and, the Roman Catholic Bishop of San Diego in a number of cases pertaining to the Clergy II litigation.
BB&K salutes Rob Hanna on being selected by his peers as one of San Diego’s top attorneys. His dedication to his real estate and business litigation practice and our clients has contributed to the growth and success of the firm throughout California.
