Walston to speak at New Mexico Water Law Conference

BB&K attorney, Roderick Walston , will be among the many distinguished speakers at the 2005 New Mexico Water Law Conference. Mr. Walston will speak on the topic of "The Effects of Federal Environmental Laws and U.S. Supreme Court Decisions on Water Rights."

Rod Walston is an Of Counsel attorney with the firm's Environmental Law & Natural Resources Practice Group in the Walnut Creek office . He has extensive experience in natural resources and environmental law, having served both as a litigator for state regulatory agencies and as a manager of litigation for federal and state agencies in these areas. Mr. Walston served as general counsel of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California from 2000 to 2002 and has particular expertise in water rights and water quality law.
