Business Litigation - ORG Practice
Piero (Pedro) Dallarda is a Partner in the Litigation Practice Group at Best Best & Krieger LLP. Before joining Best Best & Krieger LLP, Mr. Dallarda practiced in Washington D.C. and Columbus, Ohio as an associate in the Litigation Department of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur. Mr. Dallarda’s practice is focused on general business litigation, natural resources and land use.
Mr. Dallarda has successfully represented clients in litigation cases involving business disputes under the Lanham Act, intellectual property law, trade libel and unfair competition claims. These clients include California Steel Industries, Reliant Energy, American Electric Power, Southern Ohio Coal Company, Ocean Mist Farms, A&M Manufacturing, ISD Corporation, Health Care Data Solutions, and other private entities. Mr. Dallarda has successfully represented ISD Corporation in software disputes, including the cases of ISD Corporation v. Cognizant Technology Solutions, Case No. EDCV 00-6441, United States District Court for the Central District of California; Passing Lane v. ISD Corporation, Case No. SC067851, West District, County of Los Angeles; and, Avaya, Inc. v. ISD Corporation, Case No. 362811, Riverside County. Mr. Dallarda has also represented public entities in business disputes, including the City of Corona, the Western Municipal Water District, the Riverside County Transportation Commission, the City of Azusa, the City of Colton, the Riverside Unified School District, Jurupa Unified School District, and numerous other public entities. Mr. Dallarda is also general counsel for the Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority.
Mr. Dallarda graduated from Georgetown University Law School in 1992 and Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1989, magna cum laude. Mr. Dallarda serves on the Board of Directors of the Riverside Downtown Partnership and Riverside Community Players. Besides being a member of the California bar, Mr. Dallarda remains a member of the Washington D.C. and Ohio bars and a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the American Bar Association.
