Mr. Barmack is a Partner in the Business Law Practice Group of Best Best & Krieger LLP. He practices primarily in the areas of corporate finance, securities, secured transactions and structured finance including the representation of lenders and borrowers in a variety of debt finance transactions. He also has extensive experience in the areas of general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and tax law, with an emphasis in the manufacturing industry.
Mr. Barmack has represented local and regional clients in the formation, capitalization, operation and dissolution of a wide array of business entities such as corporations, partnerships and LLC’s; transactions involving a wide variety of investment structures, including the purchase of common and preferred stock, warrants, convertible securities, general or limited partnership interests, and LLC membership interests; direct acquisitions of tangible and intangible assets; and asset securitizations. He has represented owners, sellers, buyers, lenders, licensors and licensees in sales and financings of a wide variety of businesses (including tile manufacturing, corrugated products manufacturing, plastics products manufacturing, fruit and produce distribution, chemical manufacturing, chemical blending, recreational vehicle manufacturing, food manufacturing and real estate brokerage) and in the acquisition, leasing and disposition of an assortment of assets (including commercial and industrial real properties, warehouse and distribution facilities, apartment complexes and manufacturing facilities).
Mr. Barmack is a member of the Financial Lawyers Conference and Financial Executives International. In prior years, he has served on the Board of Directors and as an officer of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership, the San Antonio Community Hospital Foundation, the Baldy View Chapter of the Building Industry Association and as a member of the Anaheim Angels Advisory Board. He is a California licensed Real Estate Broker.
