D. Brian Reider is a Partner and the Litigation Practice Group Leader of Best Best &Krieger LLP. His practice areas include financial institution, business and real estate litigation. Mr. Reider also represents clients in estate litigation matters.
Before joining Best Best & Krieger LLP in 1999, Mr. Reider was the Executive Vice-President, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for Redlands Federal Bank, a billion-dollar financial institution. He also served as General Counsel for RedFed Bancorp, the holding company for Redlands Federal Bank, and was instrumental in the formation and capitalization of that company. Mr. Reider has practiced law privately in the Inland Empire area for over twenty-five years, and has represented a broad variety of business and financial institution clients.
Mr. Reider has lectured on financial institution and other management topics at California State University, San Bernardino, and he serves as a member of the Advisory Board for that institution.
Mr. Reider received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1976, where he served as an editor on the Pacific Law Journal. Mr. Reider is also a graduate of the School of Community Bank Management at the University of Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University at San Bernardino in 1973, and was named Outstanding Alumni of the College of Arts and Letters in 2002.
