Juanita Mantz is an associate with Best Best & Krieger LLP in the Ontario office and is a member of the Litigation and Eminent Domain Practice Groups.
Ms. Mantz has substantial experience in litigation and arbitration in both state and federal courts representing both public and private clients in such areas as commercial litigation, business disputes, land use, insurance coverage, environmental and professional liability. At the firm, Ms. Mantz provides legal services for a number of public agencies and private clients on a variety of litigation matters. Prior to coming to Best Best & Krieger, Ms. Mantz practiced at a large Texas law firm.
Ms. Mantz is a member of the State Bars of California and Texas. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the San Bernardino County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in California and Texas as well as in the United States District Courts in the Northern and Central Districts of California and the Southern District of Texas.
Ms. Mantz attended UC Riverside and graduated Phi Betta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, magna cum laude, in 1999. She received her J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School in 2002. While at USC Law, she participated in USC’s Post Conviction Justice Project and served as Senior Editor on the Interdisciplinary Law Journal.
Ms. Mantz’s publications include: Co-Author: “Communications with Class Members: Pre and Post Certification,” ABA Class Action Institute, (2004) and Co-author: “Current Issues in D & O Liability Insurance,” University of Texas 8th Annual Insurance Law Institute (2003).
