Mr. Harris is Of Counsel in the Corporate Transactions & Finance Practice Group of Best Best & Krieger LLP.  His practice includes Native American Indian Law with emphasis on leases and development agreements, administrative proceedings and IBIA appeals, Indian probate court, economic development authorities, financing and BIA Guarantee Loans, and tribal government matters representing tribal governments & authorities and individual tribal members.  Mr. Harris previously served as the firm's Partner in Charge of the desert offices and a former member of the firm's Executive Committee.

Mr. Harris is a member of the Boy Scouts of America National Executive Board and the former President of the National Association of United Methodist Scouters.  He is a member of the Palm Springs Roundtable, past member of Desert Hospital's Board of Directors and a former member and Chairman of the Palm Springs Planning Commission.

Mr. Harris graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Forest Management and Economics.  He earned his law degree at the University of North Carolina in 1973 where he was President of his graduating class.
