Glen W. Price is a Partner in the Riverside office of Best Best & Krieger LLP, where he represents public and private clients in all aspects of business and corporate law.
As general counsel, Mr. Price works extensively with stake holders and management of private and public manufacturing, real estate, finance, software and technology companies in the following areas of expertise:
- Business and Real Estate Transactions - Advising on the drafting and
negotiation of agreements for complex business transactions, joint ventures, business and real estate acquisitions, development agreements and intellectual property licensing arrangements;
- Debt and Equity Finance - Advising on issues related to the planning, structuring and issuance of private debt and equity and the negotiation of credit facilities, including private placements, preferred debt and equity structures for real estate development, revolving credit facilities, and acquisition and construction loans;
- Corporate Governance and Succession - Advising on issues of corporate, limited liability company and partnership structure and formation, governance (including management and stake holder succession), executive compensation and securities reporting and compliance; and
- Water Management and Transactions – Advising on issues related to the corporate ownership and development of water resources, mutual water company formation and governance, and the drafting and negotiation of water transactions.
In the past two years, Mr. Price has successfully closed debt and equity financing transactions with a value in excess of $200,000,000, and business and real estate acquisitions with a value in excess of $100,000,000. Mr. Price has further successfully worked with public agencies to develop and exploit intellectual property resources as a source of revenue during tight budgetary cycles.
Mr. Price is active in the Business and International Law sections of the State Bar of California. Mr. Price received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Puget Sound, where he was a University Scholar and associate editor of Law Review. Mr. Price graduated with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995 with a masters of law in international business and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1989.
