Intellectual Property Practice

Henry Welles is a Partner and Co-chair of the Intellectual Property Group with Best Best & Krieger LLP.  His practice involves litigation of trademark, copyright, patent infringement, unfair competition, and trade secret cases.  He also assists and counsels clients with regard to trademark registration and trademark enforcement, internet issues, intellectual property licensing, and copyright protection issues.  He is an experienced litigator in state and federal courts.  Henry is a frequent speaker on intellectual property issues.  He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and of the California Bar Intellectual Property and Litigation Sections.  He is a board member of the Variety Club Children’s Charity, and is an honorary board member of the Mirada Habitat Foundation. He is also a member of the Riverside County C.A.R.E. Team, which is a state-funded multidisciplinary task force devoted to the prevention of elder abuse. Henry serves as a Judge Pro Tem in the state court.
