Robert J. Hanna is a Partner in the Real Estate and Litigation practice groups of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s San Diego office.  Mr. Hanna is the former Chairman of Hillyer & Irwin’s General Litigation Practice Group, was designated as a Super Lawyer – San Diego in 2006, 2007 and 2008, and named by the Daily Transcript as one of San Diego County’s Top Attorneys in 2006 and 2008.  In 1975 he received his J.D., graduating magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law.  Mr. Hanna was a staff writer on the San Diego Law Review and received American Jurisprudence Awards in Contracts, Administrative Law, Remedies and the Uniform Commercial Code.

Mr. Hanna’s practice emphasizes real property, title insurance, trust, and general business litigation.  He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the State Bar of California.

Mr. Hanna has been an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Law since 1985 and has served on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
