Jason Ackerman is an associate in the Riverside office of Best Best & Krieger, where he is a member of the Environmental & Natural Resources Practice Group.

Mr. Ackerman represents public agencies and private clients in complying with state and federal environmental laws. He also represents clients in administrative proceedings and civil litigation arising out of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"), the National Environmental Policy Act ("NEPA") and state and federal Endangered Species Acts.

Mr. Ackerman received his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 2001. While in law school, Mr. Ackerman served as Managing Editor of the California Initiative Review, a law journal committed to providing comprehensive, independent analyses of California initiatives and related issues. Mr. Ackerman also served as a law clerk for the Hon. Patrick J. Riley, who was the sitting CEQA judge for El Dorado County.

Mr. Ackerman received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from San Francisco State University in 1996.

Mr. Ackerman is a member of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association and the Riverside County Bar Association.
