Lindsay Puckett is an Associate in the Environmental Law and Natural Resources Practice Group. Her practice areas include environmental, land use, and eminent domain law. Ms. Puckett represents both public and private clients in matters involving the California Environmental Quality Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, state and federal hazardous and solid waste issues, and water quality issues.
Ms. Puckett received her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2004 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in American Literature and Culture (English) from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001. She also attended the University of Salamanca in Spain for a summer.
While in law school, Ms. Puckett participated in the Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic representing citizen groups against one of the largest cement plant projects in North America. Ms. Puckett was a Semi-Finalist in Environmental Moot Court and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Environmental Land Use and Litigation, State and Local Government, and Mediation Theory and Practice.
Prior to joining Best Best & Krieger, LLP in Fall 2006, Ms. Puckett worked as an associate in the Environmental & Natural Resources Practice Group at Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP in Los Angeles and San Diego.
Ms. Puckett is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the San Diego County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Order of Barristers.
