Greg Pyke is a Partner in Best Best & Krieger LLP's Business and Real Estate Practice Groups.  Mr. Pyke is highly experienced in the structuring and operations of businesses and companies in a variety of industries and sectors. Many of his clients are manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, retail and service businesses, real estate developers and owners, and commercial borrowers and lenders. He is very familiar with high-tech and bio-tech startups, including venture capital issues. He often advises on entity formation, business and real estate matters, and large commercial transactions, including financing. He also has extensive experience representing nonprofit organizations, assisting them in formation, obtaining tax-exempt status, and ongoing management and operations issues.

Mr. Pyke has considerable experience as an expert witness providing testimony on business, real estate, and legal ethics issues.

Mr. Pyke is a popular speaker on subjects of interest to the real estate, securities, and business sectors. For seven years he chaired the annual California Continuing Education of the Bar program entitled "Recent Developments in Business Practice."

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Pyke has devoted time to various charitable organizations.  He has also provided significant pro bono legal services to charitable organizations, most recently Ronald McDonald House Charities in connection with the development and construction of a new house on the campus of the Children’s Hospital in San Diego.
