George Reyes is a Partner in Best Best & Krieger LLP's Corporate Transactions and Finance Practice Group.  He is a graduate of Harvard University ('75) and the University of California, Davis School of Law ('78).

His practice includes general counsel work for privately-owned businesses, specializing in mergers and acquisition transactions.  He has provided counsel and transactional legal representation to various types of businesses, from start-ups to well-established going concerns, in a broad cross-section of industries, such as steel, medical, hospital, printing and publishing, equipment rental, insurance, manufacturing, citrus processing, automobile dealership, plastics engineering, schools for the developmentally disabled, accounting and law. 

George is a current Director of the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, the Riverside Community Health Foundation, the Monday Morning Group, The Children’s Fund, the UCR Foundation;  the La Sierra University Foundation, the Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP) and the Board of Visitors of California Baptist University.  In prior years he has served as Chairman of the (IEEP), the Riverside Community Health Foundation and the Riverside City Council-appointed Rancho La Sierra Task Force.  George is also a former Board member of Riverside Healthcare System, LLC, the Riverside YMCA, the Riverside Medical Foundation, Riverside Hospice, Inland Empire Open, Inc., the Volunteer Center of Greater Riverside, the Resource Center for Nonprofit Management and The IE Advisory Board of City National Bank.  Additionally, he is currently a Board member of GRCCPAC (Chamber of Commerce PAC), the Inland Board of Trustees of Olive Crest Abused Children Foundation, the Riverside County Bar Association (RCBA) and The American Bar Association (ABA).
           
George is married to Mary Ann and they have two sons, Matthew, 21 and Kevin, 18.
