Danielle Sakai is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Riverside Office. Ms. Sakai practices civil litigation with an emphasis on municipal, land use, environmental, and general business dispute. Ms. Sakai routinely represents both public and private entities, before State and Federal Courts, as well as Administrative Agencies.
Ms. Sakai earned a Bachelor of Art degree in History and Law & Society form the University of California at Riverside in 1997. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Marymount University of Los Angeles, School of Law in 2000. While at Loyola, Ms. Sakai received the Bancroft-Whitney Award for Academic Achievement and was a member of the Scott Moot Court Honor Society, where she participated in the finals of the Jessup International Law Competition and was awarded for both written and oral advocacy.
Ms. Sakai is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California and the Riverside County Bar Association, where she is a member of the Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court and has participated in the Barristers Association Board of Directors. Ms. Sakai is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the courts of the State of California.
