Victor L. Wolf joined Best Best & Krieger LLP in 1983 and has been a litigation partner with the firm since 1990. He has significant experience both at the trial and appellate levels, handling a wide variety of matters including title insurance, real property and construction disputes, representing both private as well as public clients. In addition, Mr. Wolf established and is responsible for the special tax/assessment foreclosure practice group, and is also experienced in representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Currently, he is the partner in charge of litigation of a major city and a large real estate development company.
Mr. Wolf serves as a mediator for the Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Two. He also serves as both an arbitrator and mediator for the Riverside County Superior Court. Mr. Wolf served on the Design Review Board for the City of Riverside from 1989 through 1997.
Mr. Wolf is the managing partner of the Riverside office, currently serves on the firm’s compensation and building committees, and is chairman of the training committee for the Litigation Practice Group. During his career, he has been actively involved in recruitment and associate training, and has taught courses or lectured on a number of topics, including construction litigation, appellate procedure, law and motion practice, trial practice, effective research and writing, and developing and maintaining client relationships. Mr. Wolf is a member of the Construction Practice Group and has been involved in a broad range of construction-related matters, including representing developers and other clients in construction defect cases.
Mr. Wolf graduated from Stanford University in 1980, where he received a bachelor of arts in political science. He received his law degree from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 1983.
